  • ART EXPRESS AT THE ARMORY

    Discover ARTEXPRESS – a joint venture of the NSW Department of Education and the NSW Education Standards Authority. It is a series of exhibitions of exemplary bodies of work created by students for the 2017 New South Wales Higher School Certificate. The bodies of work represent a broad range of subject matter, approaches, styles and media that reflect the high quality of Visual Arts education in New South Wales.

  • CASULA POWERHOUSE ARTS CENTRE

    Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre is a multi-disciplinary arts centre that has six galleries (with changing exhibitions produced and presented by Casula Powerhouse), a 326-seat theatre, artist studios, Clayhouse Ceramics Studio, live-in facilities for artists, internal and external public artworks, collection storage facility, retail areas including café and bar, and green open spaces. Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre runs a multi-disciplinary arts program that includes exhibitions, theatre, live music, dance, workshops, seminars and education programs.

  • PARRAMATTA ARTISTS STUDIO

    Parramatta Artists Studios is at the fore of contemporary artistic production. Located in the centre of Parramatta’s CBD, in the heart of Western Sydney, the Studios offer affordable non-residential/residential studio and exhibition space to emerging and established contemporary artists.

  • INFORMATION + CULTURAL EXCHANGE (ICE)

    Information and Cultural Exchange (ICE) has built a reputation for its fresh and innovative approach to creative engagement with our communities particularly via screen and digital-based platforms. Importantly, this work has been accompanied by training and professional development initiatives that have seeded new artistic work and creative outcomes. Our work fosters and increases community pride, cohesion and creativity. For over thirty years ICE has collaborated successfully with communities, artists and educators to build creative opportunity and social capacity in Western Sydney and produce art that drives cultural change.

  • CAMPBELLTOWN ARTS CENTRE

    C-A-C consists of a 184 seat performance studio, rehearsal studio, workshop studios, library, exhibition spaces, café, collection facilities, residency studio, retail outlet and an external amphitheatre with capacity for 2000 people. The venue showcases a continuous program showcasing visual arts, performance, dance, music, live art and emergent practices.

  • PENRITH REGIONAL GALLERY

    The Penrith Regional Gallery & Lewers Bequest is one of Australia’s most beautiful regional galleries.The Gallery is set on the Nepean River and in the former home of sculptor Gerald Lewers and his wife Margo Lewers, a well-known artist.The Gallery presents a dynamic and interesting mix of exhibitions, workshops and other programs. Cafe at Lewers is set in the heritage gardens and is the perfect spot to enjoy a delicious meal. The café is open for breakfast, lunch, morning and afternoon tea.

  • AUBURN ARTS STUDIO

    The art and culture of Cumberland are diverse, complex and vibrant. Residents come from 124 countries and the artists in our community present a variety of art forms in our public spaces, for community celebrations and festivals, art workshops and for exhibitions at our art gallery in the Auburn Botanic Gardens, the Peacock Gallery and Auburn Arts Studio.

  • NORMAN LINDSAY GALLERY & MUSEUM

    The Norman Lindsay Gallery at Faulconbridge is the home of the Magic Pudding and displays the work of artist and writer Norman Lindsay (1879-1969). Run by the National Trust, the sandstone cottage and landscaped grounds are open 7 days a week and there is a specialist gift shop and cafe. Norman Lindsay (1879-1969), artist, cartoonist, and writer, came from a family that produced five artists. Lindsay left home when he was sixteen to live with his brother in Melbourne. In 1901 he moved north to make his permanent home in the Blue Mountains, working for the Bulletin in an association that lasted almost to his death.

  • THE ALAN BARKER ART GALLERY

    The largest collection of art by Australian artist, Alan Baker is now on exhibition at the new public art gallery in Camden.The gallery, known as the Alan Baker Art Gallery, is in the heritage listed building, Macaria (C.1860), which has been renovated to create the dedicated art space.Macaria was built for Henry Thompson in the mid 19th century. It showcases gabled windows, high chimneys, stone trim, wooden porch and veranda. Macaria was once a Grammar School and for many years the home of Dr. F.W. West and later other medical doctors.
